Football Passport is a free fan project. We collect as little data as possible to make the passport experience work. This page explains what's stored and why.
What we store
When you create a passport, we save the public details you choose: fan name, country, favourite player, stamps, and the generated slug. This information is shown on your shareable passport page. We do not require you to sign in and do not ask for your email, phone number, or address.
Cookies & analytics
We use only essential cookies/local storage needed for the app to function (for example, to remember an in-progress passport on your device). We do not run third-party advertising trackers. Basic anonymous request logs may be kept by our hosting provider for security and debugging.
Hosting & third parties
The app runs on Lovable Cloud (our backend and database provider). Match data is fetched from public sports data APIs. Player photos are loaded from Wikimedia Commons. We do not sell or share your data with advertisers.
Children
The site is intended for general audiences. We do not knowingly collect personal data from children under 13.
Removing your passport
If you'd like a passport you created removed, email hello@worldcup.baseone.in with the passport URL and we'll delete it.
Changes
We may update this policy as the project evolves. Material changes will be reflected by the "Last updated" date above.
